What are your business hours?​

We work Monday thru Friday.  We will work holidays and weekends only if the vacation/weekend getaway service is selected.  Please see the rates for that service under the In Home Pet Sitting/Dog Walking is selected.


​How long will the Initial Consultation Take?

​The consultation will last as long as you need it to.  We just want to make sure the sitter/walker and the dog are comfortable with each other.  We will obtain your instructions on how you would like your dog(s) and other pets cared for as well as answer any questions you may have.  We will also need to obtain a key or code.


​Will you walk my dog(s) when it's raining or snowing?

​We will walk your dog(s) all year round regardless of weather conditions. If you would like to change your dog(s) walking habits depending on the temperature or elements, we will follow your instructions.


​Can I only use your service periodically?

​Yes!  We don't have any contracts to sign, so we can be there daily or just once in a while.  We just ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice so we can add you to the schedule.


How will I be billed for your services?
All regularly scheduled service visits are billed at the end of the month.  Payment is due upon receipt.  Accounts not paid in full by the 20th of the following month will be charged a $10.00 late fee and will have their service temporarily stopped until the account is paid in full.  A $20.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.  At this time we do not offer online bill payment, but hope to do so in the near future.



What do you clean up?
We only clean up dog poop, we do not clean up grass clippings or leaves.

Will you clean the entire yard?
Yes, we will.  Unless you specify us to stay out of certain areas (i.e. gardens or flower beds), we will clean the entire yard.  We will not clean under outdoor decks unless we can walk under them.  Please keep in mind that we will do our best to scoop around rocks, wooded areas, mulch and gravel but we can't guarantee that their might not be some remnants left when scooping in those areas.

Do you clean up in the winter?
Yes!  We will clean up dog poop not covered by snow or leaves during each visit.  We can only clean what we can see.

Do you clean up when it is snowing?  Will you still clean if it's cold?
If it snows more than two inches the night before or the day of your scheduled cleaning, we will not clean that day and you would be notified via text or email.

We will still clean unless the temperature and/or wind chill is below 5 degrees.

Do you clean up if it's raining?
Yes, unless it is lightning or during heavy rain.  If we are unable to clean your yard because of inclement weather, you will be notified by text or email.

Am I charged on days you are unable to clean during bad weather?
No!  You are only charged every time a cleaning is performed.  We will attempt to clean your yard later in the week, if possible.

Can you work with my dog in the yard?
In most cases, yes.  We get along well with dogs, however, there are some cases when a dog will not allow our employee into the yard.  If you know that your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to clean your yard, we ask that you restrain or confine your dog.  We don't wish to take unnecessary risks with your dog or our employees.

I have a fenced in yard with a gate what should I do?

Our employees are not permitted to climb or jump over fences, please have your gate unlocked on your service day.  You may provide us with a key to the lock or let us know the combination if that is convenient for you.

Is there an extra charge for the initial service? 

There is an initial clean up fee for your first visit if your yard has not been cleaned recently (over one month).   This fee will be fully disclosed and approved by you before we begin work.  If you had been cleaning your lawn or had done so within the past month, our regular service rates would apply.

Can I just get a onetime service?
If you need just a onetime service, we can do that for you.  Please see our service listing for rates.


Do you disinfect your cleaning tools between jobs?

Absolutely!  We spray our cleaning tools as well as our boots/shoes after each yard we visit. This eliminates cross contamination in the yards we service.

We promise that you will get service you are happy with or you don't have to pay for it!  We know our business depends on doing excellent work, and it's the quality of our service on which we stake our success.  We're working very hard to make our name mean reliable, high-quality service. We strive to provide perfect service, but if there is ever a time when our service is not completely satisfactory, please let us know within 24 hours.  We will make it right, either by coming back to re-clean the yard or by crediting your account.


Do you clean apartment buildings or condominiums?

Yes, we will!  Please have your landlord or HOA give us a call to receive a quote.

What is your current service area?
At this time, Outside Scoops services all of Brookfield, Elm Grove, Menomonee Falls, New Berlin, Pewaukee and Waukesha.  If you live outside of these cities, you might still be able to be added to a route.  Call today (262-257-9955)

What are your hours?

We do observe New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and do not work on those days.


Do I have to sign any contracts?
There are no contracts to sign.  When you sign up for service, we will begin that week or the following week depending on the day you signed up.  We will continue with service until you notify us to discontinue service.  Please notify us at least 24 hours before your next service date if you wish to stop service for any reason.
